(Watch our motorized Amazon Warehouse roof in action above!)

Amazon Warehouse project in Richmond, B.C.

We were contracted by Flynn Canada to design, supply, and install a temporary scaffold roofing solution to weatherproof the existing roof during remediation work on the warehouse.

This Layher XL Clearspan Keder Roof is 130′ wide by 140′ long — and set up with a 2-way motorized system, built over top of 400 feet of runway track — enabling the roof to move down the track. The retractable roof shelters only the sections under repair. This is a cost-effective and quick solution to cover 50,000 sq. ft of space.

Overall, the result is a reduction in costs—given less scaffold and labour time—while also enabling repairs to continue during all types of weather.
